Hier beleeft u de tijd van vroeger met een zeer omvangrijke collectie stoom- en dieselmaterieel, een grote werkplaats, een prachtig oud stationsgebouw met een authentiek stationskantoor, een grote draaischijf voor het draaien van de stoom- en diesellocomotieven, een rijdende kolenkraan, waterkolommen, vleugelseinen, handbediende overwegen en nog veel meer. Ontdek hoe een stoomdepot vroeger werkte. Op overige stations is er geen mogelijkheid on in- en\/of uit te stappen. Om 19:15u is het tijd om plaats te nemen: de stoomloc wordt aan de gereedstaande trein gekoppeld en om 19:25u klinkt het vertreksein voor de trein met de deelnemers. Sissend en puffend rijdt de trein in het laatste licht van de dag met een rustig gangetje over de prachtige Veluwe, terwijl de reizigers binnen genieten van de reis en het uitzicht.
