Hiervoor heeft de VSM enkele historische internationale restauratierijtuigen die zijn uitgerust met complete keukens. Hierdoor bestaat de mogelijkheid om in een rijdende trein een diner, lunch, buffet en andere feestelijke maaltijden te serveren. Het stoomdepot geeft u een indruk van het stoomtijdperk van de spoorwegen uit de vorige eeuw, u zet hier letterlijk een stap terug in de tijd. Een bezoek aan het stoomdepot, met vele voorzieningen die nodig zijn om met stoomlocomotieven te rijden, is het meer dan waard.<\/p>\n<p>Voor groepen kan een rondleiding worden verzorgd over het depot en de locomotievenloods, waarbij wordt verteld wat er zoal komt kijken bij het rijden met historische stoomtreinen. Ook buiten de rijdagen om wordt voor gezelschappen mogelijkheid geboden een rondleiding te krijgen over stoomdepot. Het station heeft een prachtige stationsrestauratie met diverse mogelijkheden voor een kopje koffie, lunch of high tea. De dienstregeling wordt daarbij in overleg met u speciaal samengesteld. U bepaalt zelf het tijdstip van vertrek en vanaf welk station. U beschikt dan gedurende maximaal 5 uur exclusief over uw stoomtrein. Een eventueel bezoek aan het stoomdepot is daarbij eventueel in te plannen. De VSM informeert u graag over de verschillende mogelijkheden.
