De bezoekers hebben hun hart weer kunnen ophalen tijdens Terug naar Toen op 7 en 8 september 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De volgende stoomlocomotieven reden met verschillende reizigers- en goederentreinen tussen de stations op de spoorlijn Apeldoorn en Dieren: de 23 071, 23 076, 44 1593, 50 0073, 50 307, 50 3654, 52 3879, 52 8139 en de 64 415. De VSM bezit zelf maar liefst twee exemplaren uit deze serie; de 23 071 en de 23 076 beide gebouwd in 1956. Dit jaar is de Stoomstichting Nederland met twee stoomlocomotieven naar de Veluwe gekomen, waarvan \u00e9\u00e9n haar onlangs geheel gereviseerde 23 023. Zaterdagochtend vertrokken zij met een speciale trein vol met liefhebbers van stoomtreinen vanuit Rotterdam naar het festival. In Dieren stonden de 23\u2019ers van de VSM klaar om de trein verder naar Beekbergen te brengen. Een unieke gebeurtenis!<\/p>\n<p>In het Museumstoomdepot konden de bezoekers aanschouwen wat er allemaal moet gebeuren als een stoomlocomotief pauze heeft. Zo werden er kolen geladen, water genomen, bewegende delen gesmeerd, etc. In de loods van Beekbergen stonden diverse modelbanen opgesteld en verder werden er nog allerlei &#8222;spoorse&#8220; artikelen verkocht.
